Missing 21-yr-old was last seen Nov. 14

Family and friends of a missing 21-yr-old are asking for the public’s help in finding him. They have reported Dwayne Broussard missing to the Baton Rouge Police Dept.

Broussard was last seen on Nov. 14th, nearly two weeks ago in Baton Rouge.

His family describes him as a black man, 6’1″ and lives in the Scotlandville area of Baton Rouge.

“He was supposed to go to his grandfather’s house but his grandfather thought he was with me,” said Broussard’s guardian Terrica Baker. “Supposedly, my son saw him walking at 1am off of N. Lark St. and that was the last time anyone saw him. He hasn’t even picked up his check yet so this is definitely out of the ordinary.”

Baker says Broussard left his phone, never went to work and has not gone by to pick up his check. Plus, Baker said she just found out today that he never went and picked up a prescription that was called in on Nov. 14th.

“Also, I’m very concerned because he is an active member of the LGQTB community and the hate that’s being shown towards them is frightening so we are very worried and concerned,” said Baker.

Anyone with information on Broussard’s whereabouts is asked to call Baton Rouge Police at 225-389-2000, or Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP or submit an online tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
