DENHAM SPRINGS — The driver of a motorcycle died after a wreck Saturday night in Denham Springs.

He has been identified as John Cole Netherland, 21. His last address is from Ventress, La in Pointe Coupee Parish.

It happened around 10:20pm on Saturday, May 20th on Hwy. 190 at Woodland St. in Denham Springs.

Officers were dispatched to a crash involving a red Chevrolet pick-up truck and a motorcycle.

Early reports show the motorcycle driver was headed east on Hwy. 190 when the driver hit the truck. Officials say the truck was turning west from Woodland St. onto US 190.
