MS pair arrested after three-parish pursuit

Two people were arrested in Pointe Coupee Parish after allegedly robbing various places in Mississippi, according to Louisiana State Police.

Mississippi officials informed LSP that the suspects had fled to Louisiana.

LSP found the suspects on I-12 westbound and started a pursuit on O’Neal Lane that went through EBR & WBR parishes before ending on Dickerson Dr. in Pointe Coupee Parish.

The suspects are Desmond Johnson and Ja’vonte Johnson & were booked in the Pointe Coupee Parish Jail.
