Multiple shootings since Friday throughout EBR Parish

It was a violent night in East Baton Rouge Parish with several shootings where people were injured and in some cases, no one was hit but several rounds were fired.

Plus, there’s already been a shooting on Saturday morning with one person injured. It happened on Choctaw Dr. near N. 38th St. around 9:30am.

Around 1am on Saturday, a home on Scenic Hwy. took multiple rounds. A man was shot in the foot at this scene.

Just 30 minutes earlier, there was a drive-by shooting on Flanacher Rd. off of Hwy. 61. A 19-yr-old was shot while standing outside. East Baton Rouge Deputies also found the victim to be in possession of a reportedly stolen ATV.

Then overnight, there was a domestic shooting on Candlewood Ave. off of Millerville Rd. where a woman is said to have shot her boyfriend who was allegedly assaulting her.


Just before 10pm on Friday, there were multiple calls for a 19-yr-old shot to the leg but from several addresses. Officers did find the teen on Kansas St. The teen was transported for a non-life threatening injury.

A 40-yr-old was shot and killed outside a bank in Central around 7:30pm on Friday. Deltrick Parker took four bullets in what sources say was a targeting shooting, meaning the suspect(s) was following Parker and spotted him at the Chase bank. That’s when the suspect fired off several rounds and then fled.

On Friday, Oct. 28th around 4:30pm, a 38-yr-old man was found shot in an apartment on North St. and transported to a hospital.
