BATON ROUGE — Interstate 10 was shut down in Baton Rouge between Siegen and Highland after a multiple vehicle wreck.
It happened around 4 p.m. on I-10 westbound with three vehicles, one of them overturned.
Two people were transported to a hospital and both were listed in stable condition.
With the interstate shut down, traffic came to a complete stop with many drivers using the on-ramp at Highland to go the wrong way to get off the interstate.
Traffic was backed up for miles past Highland Rd. to near Bluff Rd.
