Need assistance in identifying man on bicycle left for dead on Airline Hwy.

On July 31, 2022, the East Baton Rouge Coroner’s office responded to the area of 6910 Airline Hwy. to investigate the death of a black male who had been hit by an unknown vehicle while he was on his bicycle.

This crash happened on Airline Hwy. near Prescott Rd. on July 31st around 4am.

The coroner’s office tried fingerprinting the deceased but could not get a positive identification.

It’s why they’re asking for the public’s help. The deceased is a black male, who had been riding a purple beach cruiser type bicycle.

He has several distinct tattoos, including the words “Live” on his right arm, and “Strong” on his left arm. The man also has a tattoo of a large clock with roman numerals on his left shoulder, and a tattoo of praying hands on his right neck. There is a tattoo of a fleur de lis with “Who Dat” on his left arm, and a smaller tattoo of a musical note on his left hand near his thumb.
