Need help identifying, finding suspect who held up liquor store clerk

HAMMOND —- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding a man accused of pointing a gun at a liquor store clerk.

TPSO says on Saturday, June 22, detectives responded to a liquor store in the 14000 block of Old Baton Rouge Highway in Hammond.

The clerk reported to deputies that a black male customer argued with him over his purchase before pointing a gun at him.

As caught on the store surveillance video, the suspect was last seen wearing a red baseball hat, gray and/or faded black jeans and a black shirt. Deputies say he left the store in a black, newer model Honda Accord with three other people.

TPSO Sheriff Gerald Sticker is asking anyone with information about the suspect to contact the Criminal Investigations Office at 985-902-2072.
