Numerous drugs & money seized in drug bust in Assumption Parish

An Assumption Parish drug bust ends with two people arrested and several drugs and cash confiscated.

Through investigating, narcotics agents found evidence suggesting Leroyal Sentel Lanus, 34, and Mikayla Ann Chronister, 26, were allegedly involved in the large-scale trafficking of illegal drugs.

They then executed a search warrant at 125 Grissaffe Lane in Belle Rose on Tuesday, Nov. 9^th.

During the search, agents found and seized a large amount and variety of controlled dangerous substances as well as money. 

Leroyal Sentel Lanus and Mikayla Ann Chronister were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

           *Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin

           *Possession with Intent to Distribute Amphetamines

           * Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana

           * Possession with Intent to Distribute Suboxone

           *Possession of Xanax (Alprazolam)

           *Possession of Cocaine

           *Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Lanus and Chronister remain incarcerated pending bond hearings.
