The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide that happened on Indigo Ridge Ave. in Baton Rouge.
The call came in after a relative went to check on the residents of a home in the 16000 block of Indigo Ridge Ave. That’s off of O’Neal Ln. and George Oneal Rd.
That’s when two people, a husband and wife were found deceased inside the home, according to EBRSO. Coby Manuel, 59, and his wife, Janell Manuel, 59, were killed.
Since officials are just responding to the scene, details on what led up to their deaths and information on possible suspects remains unknown. Sources have said it is possible the two may have been killed on a different day and that it could potentially be a domestic murder-suicide.
