KILLIAN — One person was killed, and another critically injured after a generator exploded and caught fire on Tuesday, according to multiple sources who spoke to UWK.
The incident happened on Lower Rome Road, just south of Killian in Livingston Parish, shortly before noon on September 24.
Sources report that one person died at the scene, while another victim was airlifted to the Baton Rouge General Burn Unit by AirMed.
The fire also reportedly spread to a home.
