CLINTON — A 57-yr-old Ethel man died and two others were injured in a Friday afternoon crash just outside of Clinton in East Feliciana Parish.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 955 and Highway 10 around noon. State Police say Frank Stevens, 57, of Ethel died in the crash.
Two others were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation reveals a 2005 Toyota Sequoia was headed east on Hwy. 10 approaching the intersection of LA 955. At the same time, Stevens was headed north on Hwy. 955 approaching LA 10, in a 2016 Toyota Scion.
Stevens began to turn left onto Hwy. 10, into the path of the Sequoia, and the front of the Sequoia hit the front of the Scion.
Stevens was not buckled at the time of the crash. Toxicology samples were taken from all parties.
