One shot outside bank in Central

East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Deputies and Central Police Officers responded to a drive-by shooting that took place outside of the Chase Bank in Central.

It happened around 7:35 PM on Friday, October 28 on Sullivan near Greenwell Springs roads.

Deltrick Parker, 40, was shot multiple times in the chest and transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died at the hospital from his injuries.

Sources confirm suspect(s) were following Parker Friday night and “waiting for him.” Sources added they watched him leave a restaurant and when he stopped at the bank, the suspect(s) fired off multiple times and then drove off.

Parker took four bullets.

Officials say the suspect is believed to have left the area possibly in a white vehicle.
