BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police officers have arrested a second person after a deadly shooting that happened on O’Neal Lane on Tuesday, Dec. 31, around 4:25 p.m. Officers recently arrested Glenn Walker, 32, but later arrested a second suspect: Kelvin Robins, 37.
The shooting happened in the 2000 block of O’Neal Lane, that’s near the Taco Bell and Wal-Mart right off of I-12. Officials say one person was shot in the chest and transported to a hospital in critical condition.
William Bradford, 44, died from his injuries.
Walker is being charged with first degree murder, second degree battery, and armed robbery, officials said. He is in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Robins was arrested in Ascension Parish as a fugitive and brought back to Baton Rouge. He is now in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Robins is charged with first degree murder, principal to second degree battery and principal to armed robbery, according to officials.
The investigation is ongoing.
BRPD is leading the investigation into the shooting. No details were provided as to what led up to the shooting.
