The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the two people captured on surveillance cameras at the P & T Jewelry Store on Coursey Blvd.

On March 16, 2022, around midnight, deputies were dispatched to the P & T Jewelry Store in reference to a burglary in progress.

The owner contacted the sheriff’s office to report that he was watching as two unknown suspects were inside the business shattering glass displays.

When deputies arrived, they found the front glass door was shattered and the suspects had already left the location. Deputies learned that the suspects shattered numerous glass displays and stole jewelry believed to be in the amount of over $50,000. The suspects also caused approximately $20,000 in damage.
Anyone with information on the case should contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office Armed Robbery and Burglary Division at 225-389-5064.
