Parents face arrest, criminal charges after students fight at Park Forest Middle School

BATON ROUGE, La. — Two parents are facing arrest and criminal charges after a fight involving several students at Park Forest Middle School, East Baton Rouge Parish school officials confirm.

The fight involving several female students broke out around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, officials said. Two parents reportedly arrived at the school and became involved in the altercation, according to EBRS officials.

School security and law enforcement officers managed to diffuse the situation. Fortunately, no one was injured during the altercation.

Both parents involved will be arrested and face criminal charges.

In a news release, the East Baton Rouge Schools stressed how critically important it is to protect the safety of its students and staff and keep school campuses secure.
