BATON ROUGE — In 2024, the Savannah Bananas’ Banana Ball was one of the biggest events in Baton Rouge, with tickets almost as hard to get as Taylor Swift’s. The team has now announced their 2025 schedule, but unfortunately, Baton Rouge didn’t make the list of stops. However, their biggest rival, the Party Animals, will return to Alex Box Stadium.
Known for their in-game entertainment and viral social media presence, the Savannah Bananas and the Party Animals made their first appearance at LSU’s Alex Box Stadium in 2024, marking the inaugural Banana Ball game in a college baseball venue.

The Party Animals, an independent professional baseball team created to compete in Banana Ball, made their debut in 2020. Since 2022, they have toured the country with the Savannah Bannas, drawing widespread attention for their fun, unorthodox take on America’s favorite pastime—similar to the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball.
This time, the Party Animals are hitting the road without the Bananas. They’re set to play the Texas Tailgaters at Alex Box Stadium on August 8-9.
If you’re interested in tickets, you can enter the lottery by selecting Baton Rouge as your preferred city. The lottery closes on November 1.
As for the Savannah Bananas, the closest they’ll get to Louisiana in 2025 is in Houston on September 26-27.
