BATON ROUGE — A 66-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle and killed on Plank Road overnight Saturday, city police said.
The vehicle that hit her did not stop.
Police are looking for a “black sport style vehicle” that witnesses say was headed north on Plank between Denham and Cannon streets about 12:05 a.m. Sunday according to a police.
That vehicle hit and killed Carolyn Evens.
Officers are requesting the public’s help with any information, especially on details of the vehicle involved, to contact Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
