PORT ALLEN – A West Baton Rouge Parish woman has been arrested following a violent home invasion and domestic abuse incident that took place on Sunday, August 18, 2024. West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies arrested Holly Leonard, 37, on Monday.
According to investigators, Leonard went to her ex-boyfriend’s home, where she allegedly damaged his vehicle parked outside the home. Deputies say the situation escalated when Leonard reportedly forced her way into the victim’s home. Once inside, she is accused of hitting, pushing and shoving the victim, who remains unnamed.
The investigation also revealed that the home invasion and domestic abuse incident allegedly took place in the presence of a child, leading to additional charges of child endangerment.
Holly Leonard has been booked into the West Baton Rouge Detention Center on the following charges:
- Home Invasion
- Domestic Abuse (Child Endangerment)
- Criminal Damage to Property
As of now, no bond has been set for Leonard, and she remains in custody at the West Baton Rouge Detention Center
