Portion of Hwy 74 in Ascension closed due to accident

ASCENSION PARISH — Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office officials announce Hwy 74 at Babin Road is shut down indefinitely due to an accident.

Officials say no major injuries are reported. An update will be provided when the road reopens.
