Portion of Juban Blvd. was shut down after crash involving motorcycle

LIVINGSTON PARISH — Juban Blvd. southbound was shut down after a crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 in front of Juban Crossing in the southbound lanes of Juban Blvd.

Multiple sheriff’s units, an ambulance and Airmed responded to the scene with the helicopter landing on Juban Blvd. It’s why a portion of Juban Blvd., directly in front of Juban Crossing till the I-12 ramp, was shut down. Traffic inside Juban Crossing was extremely heavy as shoppers were stuck trying to come out and turn right onto Juban Blvd. Northbound traffic was moving.

Few details are available on the crash at this time, but the motorcycle driver was transported via Airmed in critical condition.

No further details have been provided on what led up to the crash. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
