BATON ROUGE — The second major concert coming to Tiger Stadium in 2026 is no longer a mystery.
Nine-time diamond-certified global superstar Post Malone and three-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist Jelly Roll will bring their BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2 to Death Valley on May 23, LSU Athletics announced.
The show is part of LSU’s newly launched Death Valley Live Stadium Series, an initiative aimed at bringing world-class concerts and special events to Tiger Stadium beyond football season. LSU Athletics is partnering with the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, the Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership, and Visit Baton Rouge on the effort.
The announcement confirms what city leaders hinted at late last year when they revealed that two major Tiger Stadium concerts were booked for 2026. The first, Zach Bryan’s March 28 stop, was announced in November. At the time, officials said the May 23 date would feature a headliner capable of drawing crowds on the scale of the 2022 Garth Brooks concert, which sold more than 102,000 tickets.

Post Malone and Jelly Roll arrive in Baton Rouge fresh off a record-setting stadium run. Their previous tour together drew more than one million fans across North America and grossed over $170 million, making it Post Malone’s highest-attended and best-selling tour to date.
The Tiger Stadium shows are part of a broader push by LSU and local leaders to turn Baton Rouge into a more competitive destination for major tours. Earlier this year, the Metro Council approved a plan allowing the city-parish’s 2% share of event-related sales tax to be rebated to artists or promoters, an incentive recommended by Visit Baton Rouge to help secure large-scale events.
Visit Baton Rouge officials have said each Tiger Stadium concert could generate more than $30 million in local spending, far exceeding the value of the rebate.
Ticket presales for the concert begin February 6. Fans must sign up by February 4 to participate. General ticket sales begin February 10 at LiveNation.com.
