Pregnant woman allegedly beaten by ex and his sister

On Sunday Nov. 20th, a pregnant woman was allegedly pulled from her car and beaten by her ex-domestic partner and his sister.

This incident happened after Donnie Pierre Breaux and his sister, Lacey Breaux Dunnigan, allegedly followed the victim to her Riverbend home in Belle River Sunday afternoon.

Deputies arrived at the pregnant woman’s home and were told of the beating.

After an investigation, officials found evidence which they said confirmed the victim’s story of what happened, specifically physical injuries.

Breaux was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center for “domestic abuse battery upon a pregnant victim.”

A warrant is out for Dunnigan and deputies are attempting to locate her.

Breaux remains at the Assumption Parish Detention Center as he awaits his bond hearing.
