Keiondriah McGee, 20, was arrested and charged with battery of a dating partner and illegal carrying of a weapon after an argument turned into a shooting.
Officials say McGee and the victim were arguing when the gun went off shooting the victim, who is six months pregnant.
It happened near Mills & Merganzer avenues, just off Scenic Hwy. on Monday, Sept. 12th around 6pm in the presence of at least two children.
Officials added that McGee allegedly hit the victim in the face when the gun fired off one round hitting the pregnant woman just below her stomach.
She was transported to an area hospital. The extent of her injuries and the unborn baby’s injuries, if any, are unknown at this time.
McGee was arrested and charged.
