DENHAM SPRINGS — Big Mike’s in Denham Springs is giving back to a local family after their 17-year-old daughter died following a tragic car crash.
Adelie Latta was in a serious crash on Nov. 3, and died from complications on Nov. 30.
Big Mike’s, at 123 Aspen Square, is hosting a give back night on Tuesday, Dec. 16. 10% of all proceeds will go directly to Latta’s family. This includes both dine-in and takeout orders all day.

LIVINGSTON PARISH — You can give back to 17-year-old Adelie Latta‘s family on Dec. 11 by grabbing a meal at Raising Cane’s on Dec. 11.
The Denham Springs High School senior died on Nov. 30 following complications from a serious car crash on Nov. 3.
On Thursday, Raising Cane’s Denham Springs and Walker locations are holding a fundraiser for Latta’s family, DSHS Powerlifting, and DSHS JADD. If you mention the fundraiser at the restaurants or use the code RCFUND96 when you order in the app at checkout, Raising Cane’s will donate 15% of net sales.
The fundraiser runs from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11. If you can’t make it to the restaurant, you can donate to the family’s GoFundMe to help support Latta’s service expenses here.
