Breaking Update: Girl reported missing dropped off at Ochsner Health Center on O’Neal Ln.

BATON ROUGE — Officials confirm to UWK that the missing child at the center of a search in Baton Rouge and Central has been located. The little girl, reportedly 4-years-old, was dropped off at Ochsner Health Center on O’Neal Ln. and is safe.

Sources tell UWK that a neighbor found the little girl wandering around her grandmother’s home. She called the grandmother who works at Ochsner, and that’s why she was taken there.

DCFS is involved in the investigation.

The little girl is the child of an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s deputy. She was with her mom when she was reported missing. It’s unclear of the inconsistencies in the timeline.

Our team is at the scene of where officials have been searching, and we will provide updates with any new information as it becomes available.

EBRSO officials say a photograph of the little girl will not be released since she has been located.
