Shooting in downtown Baton Rouge parking garage injures one

BATON ROUGE — It was just before 8 p.m. on Sunday evening in Baton Rouge when there was a shooting in a parking garage in downtown Baton Rouge.

Baton Rouge Police officers were patrolling the downtown area when they heard shots fired in the LaSalle Parking Garage.

When officers got into the garage, they found a man who had been shot multiple times but was still responsive.

He was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

At this time, no details have been provided to what led up to the downtown garage shooting or if any suspects have been arrested or detained. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
