The Baton Rouge Police Dept. is investigating a shooting that happened around 9:30 on Friday night.
It happened on North Acadian Thruway near Boyd Ave.
The driver was shot at least twice but then attempted to flee the scene. That’s when he crashed trapping himself and his passenger in the vehicle. Both had to be extricated out of the vehicle.
