On Tuesday, Aug. 18—more than two months since he was last seen by family—officials are now hopeful that missing teen Ja’Derrius Minnieweather’s remains have been located, several agencies announced.
Baton Rouge Police Chief TJ Morse shared that after thousands of hours in diligent planning and excavation efforts, which have spanned more than six weeks, evidence was discovered Tuesday morning that he is hopeful are those of Ja’Derrius Minnieweather.
