The DEA New Orleans Division, alongside its federal, state, and local partners, announced decline in fentanyl-related overdoses across the Northshore region. The two-year effort, known as the “Trifecta” model, has led to a 70% reduction of fentanyl-related deaths in St. Tammany Parish according to the DEA. Their data also reports a 58.5% reduction in Washington Parish, and 45.3% in Tangipahoa Parish.
