A Geismar volunteer firefighter’s body was escorted back to Ascension Parish from New Orleans after he lost his battle to Leukemia. Arrington Beasley, 31, of Geismar, died Sunday evening, June 2, 2024, around 9:45 p.m. with his family by his side in a New Orleans hospital.
