The United Cajun Navy sends out assistance to the devastated Bogue Chitto community after a strong tornado tore through the area on the evening of May 6th. The most impacted portion of the tonrado’s path through Lincoln County is the Wash Trailer Park located off Highway 51. UCN’s Incident Commander Josh Gill describes the scene as, “The worst I’ve ever seen.”
United Cajun Navy and the Bogue Chitto Fire Department coordinated together to setup a pod at the fire station to assist residents affected by the tornado with essential supplies.
