UPDATE —- The missing has been located and is safe per State Police.
EAST BATON ROUGE — State Police troopers are requesting the public’s help in finding a missing 64-year-old, who was last seen on Tuesday night. Troopers have since issued a silver alert for Chester Baggett.
He was last seen at 14740 Florida Boulevard on Tuesday, August 4. The Louisiana State Police was requested to issue the silver alert just before 10 p.m. on Thursday.
Baggett is described by troopers as a white man with blue eyes and gray, partially bald hair. He is 5’6” and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
Family reported that Baggett does have a medical condition that may cause him to become disoriented.
Baggett was last seen wearing a T-shirt, shorts, and long socks. He is believed to be on foot.
Anyone with information regarding Baggett’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 389-5000 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.
