SLIDELL — St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics detectives recently partnered with multiple agencies to investigate an individual believed to be distributing cocaine throughout multiple parishes. Officials arrested a Slidell man and seized illegal drugs, firearms and cash.
Jefferson Parish Narcotics detectives initially identified a person believed to be distributing “large quantities of cocaine” throughout Orleans and Jefferson parishes. The suspect was identified as Slidell man Christopher Miles, per STPSO.
During the investigation, agencies executed simultaneous search warrants across three parishes: St. Tammany, Jefferson and Orleans. STPSO Narcotics detectives searched Miles’ home in the 1500 block of Kings Row.
Miles was at the home at that time and placed into custody.
During that search, detectives seized the following:
- Three firearms
- $6,318 in U.S. currency
- Approximately 10 ounces of cocaine
- 2.6 grams of crack cocaine
- 14.2 grams of marijuana
- 13 dosage units of hydrocodone
- 1 dosage unit of diethylpropion
- Various items of drug paraphernalia
Christopher Miles was transported to the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center and booked on the following charges:
- Firearm in the presence of CDS
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
- Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses
- Schedule II, Hydrocodone
- Schedule IV, Diethylpropion
- Schedule I, Marijuana
- Drug paraphernalia
