BATON ROUGE — After a shooting on Southern University’s campus over the weekend, university officials are requesting the public’s help in identifying a person of interest caught on camera.
The person of interest was captured on camera in U.S. Jones Hall in the aftermath of a campus shooting around 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 2nd.
That shooting is also what led up to a lockdown at Southern University. The lockdown was a precautionary measure and was lifted after the threat ended.
Details surrounding the actual shooting incident have not been released, but one person was transported to an area hospital. Their current condition was not readily available.
