DENHAM SPRINGS —- A 44-year-old St. Francisville man has been arrested, accused of shooting and killing a man in Livingston Parish.
It was Saturday, Oct. 12 when Livingston Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to Linda Lee Dr. in Denham Springs for a shooting.
LPSO says Joshua C. Smith, 44, was found dead at the location.
After investigating, LPSO learned that 44-year-old Michael Rogillio of St. Francisville was a potential suspect. That’s when LPSO asked for help from the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office & the St. Francisville Police Department.
LPSO has not released what Rogillio’s alleged involvement is in the murder. He was found and taken into custody without any problems. He was booked as a fugitive for Livingston Parish into the West Feliciana Parish jail.
He will be transported to the Livingston Parish Detention Center, where he is facing a charge of second-degree murder.
