EAST BATON ROUGE — Louisiana State Police is investigating a deadly crash on Greenwell Springs Rd. that killed a 65-yr-old woman from Clinton.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. in the 37000 block of Greenwell Springs Rd.
State Police troopers say due to the weather, a tree fell on Vivian H. Johnson’s 2019 Dodge Caravan. She was driving northbound on Greenwell Springs Rd. when that falling tree forced her off the roadway and hit another tree.
Johnson died on the scene.
Officials say she was buckled, and impairment is not suspected.
