PORT ALLEN — The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s office is requesting the public’s help in identifying and locating two people who are wanted in a stolen candy investigation.
It was Feb. 22, 2026 when WBRSO deputies say the woman caught on video walked into a store along Lobdell Highway with a large trash bag. She’s then accused of loading multiple boxes of candy, worth approximately $700 per the WBRSO, into that bag before leaving out.
WBRSO says she then got into a a dark-colored Volkswagen SUV driven by an unknown male.
Anyone with information on the duo or have any information on the stolen candy that could assist investigators, please contact WBRSO at 225-382-5200 or 225-343-9234. People can also call Capital Region Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP and remain anonymous while possibly collecting a cash reward.
