TANGIPAHOA — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help with any information regarding a shooting that took place Monday afternoon inside a mobile home park.
Tangipahoa deputies responded to a call for a shooting at the mobile home park on Melanie Lane in the Hammond area on Sept. 8th. At the scene, a woman told deputies she was shot at while driving through the neighborhood. She said she was hit in the arm.
She has since been transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives did find an additional bullet hole in at least one home near where the victim said she was struck while in her car.
At this time, no other injuries have been reported.
