LORANGER — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for help with identifying a man seen in Loranger over the weekend. He may have a potentially serious injury based on camera surveillance sent to officials.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, a property owner in the 53000 block of Highway 445, near the Highway 40 intersection, spotted a man on his surveillance cameras walking down the gravel road. The man appears to be an older, white male and he had a large blood stain on the right side of his shirt.
According to officials, there were no crimes or crashes reported in that area on Aug. 17, and no missing person reports fit the man’s description. Officials haven’t been able to determine his identity, why he was in the area, or what direction he continued.
TPSO is hoping the public can help identify the man in hopes of conducting a wellness check and getting him medical care, if needed.
