GONZALES, La. —- Gonzales police are investigating a 16-year-old accused of stabbing his uncle during a dispute.
Officials say Gonzales Police received a report of a stabbing that occurred at a residence on West La 30 around 5 p.m. on March 21.
The 40-year-old male victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was in critical condition with three stab wounds in the neck.
Authorities say the victim was stabbed by his nephew out of anger that his mother could not take him to an undisclosed location. The juvenile is in custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
