Teen girl shot in the arm, recovering in hospital

BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge police are investigating yet another shooting in the Capital City. The latest involves a 14-year-old girl.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night on Goudchaux St. This is between Scenic Hwy. and I-110 in north Baton Rouge.

Sources tell UWK that the suspect fired shots from a vehicle towards an individual riding a bike. However, it remains uncertain whether the teenager was the intended target.

The teen was taken to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital and is reportedly in stable condition. The investigation continues, and so far, police have not released details on suspects or arrests.
