ZACHARY — A teen shooting suspect was the target of a separate shooting this week, Unfiltered with Kiran has learned.
The shooting happened Thursday afternoon on West Grove Dr. Witnesses say they heard roughly 10 gunshots.
The teen victim, a Zachary High School basketball player, who is the suspect in a shooting in December, was on a backyard patio with another person when the shooting occurred. No one was injured and all of the shots hit the back of the home, according to the Zachary Police Department.
There have been a number of inaccurate social media posts about the shooting. The Zachary Schools superintendent tells UWK that no student involved in the December shooting ever returned to Zachary High School.
The teen suspect has not been named because of his age.
