EAST BATON ROUGE — A multi-agency raid took place at nine area massage parlors in and around Baton Rouge. In total, 10 women were detained from the massage parlor bust, five at the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) while five went to Border Patrol, UWK has learned.
The ten women’s immigration status is under investigation and if they’re found not to be in the country legally, they will be handed off to ICE and likely will be deported.
The raid happened at 10 a.m. and one was caught on camera by UWK staff at a massage parlor on O’Neal Ln. near Strain Rd. Multiple law enforcement officials assisted with the bust, but EBRSO was the lead in a prostitution and pandering investigation. EBRSO started the investigation in November 2024 and once officials obtained search warrants, that’s when EBRSO requested help from other agencies.
The charges against the 10 women are unclear at this time, but because federal agencies such as HSI assisted with the massage parlor bust, they added secondary charges related to immigration. Also found in the bust was “bulk cash and other evidence” that’s been seized.
Border Patrol, HSI, Baton Rouge Police, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, DEA, St. George Fire, Zachary PD, State Fire Marshal, AG’s Office LBI, City of St. George Inspections, BRFD, City of Baton Rouge Inspections, Louisiana Board of Massage Therapy Inspectors, Office of Inspector General, FBI and District Attorney are among the assisting agencies, who simultaneously executed several warrants at the nine locations for potential prostitution and pandering.
In the massage parlor bust on O’Neal Ln., multiple agents went in through the front door while additional law enforcement officials covered all exits in case anyone attempted to flee.
