More than 100 people are confirmed dead and hundreds more remain missing after catastrophic flash flooding tore through the Texas Hill Country over the Fourth of July holiday.
Over a foot of rain fell within hours across a wide stretch of the Guadalupe River basin, with Kerrville among the hardest-hit areas. The sudden deluge caused the Guadalupe River to rise approximately 26 feet in just 45 minutes during the early morning hours of July 4, sweeping away homes, RVs, and vehicles in its path.

How to Help: Donate to Texas Flood Relief Efforts
If you’re looking for ways to support relief efforts, you can donate to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, which is directing contributions to vetted organizations involved in rescue, relief, and recovery.
Donations are also being accepted by Convoy of Hope, the American Red Cross, TEXSAR and the Salvation Army Kerrville.
Additionally, Kerrville Pets Alive is helping reunite lost pets with their families. Monetary donations for pet food and supplies are being accepted on their website.
