PORT ALLEN— The third annual Jingle Jeepin’ Parade lit up West Baton Rouge Parish over the weekend, as roughly 50 festively decorated Jeeps cruised through the city, spreading holiday cheer. Since its launch in 2022, the parade has become a tradition, bringing families and Jeep enthusiasts together.
Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with the parade this year as it was not only cold, but had rained most of the day and drizzled throughout the parade. Parade organizers know it’s also why there were not as many people taking part this year. In past years, the number of jeeps has grown, but there’s always next year!
Inspired by the success of similar events in other cities, the Jeep parade has become a beloved tradition in West Baton Rouge. Since its humble beginnings three years ago, it has grown into a highly anticipated celebration of holiday cheer.
As every year, there was a Jeep-decorating contest with the top three announced ahead of the parade’s start. Participants showcased displays, from twinkling lights to inflatable Santas, while attendees donated bags of dog and cat food to local shelters. The top three winners were awarded with plaques and were also celebrated throughout the night.

Excitement is already building for next year’s fourth annual Jingle Jeepin’ Parade in 2025, promising even more holiday magic.
