BATON ROUGE — On Oct. 7, 2024, Terryon Thomas, aka Mr. Prada, was transported to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison from Dallas, TX, where he was officially charged in connection to Dr. Abraham’s murder. He is facing second-degree murder and obstruction of justice from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, but he is also facing charges from the Baton Rouge Police Dept. for allegedly ramming into a police car before fleeing from police.
It all started with a violent argument, a shocking discovery, and a multi-state manhunt that culminated in the arrest of 20-year-old TikTok creator Terryon Ishmael Thomas. He is now facing murder charges in the death of Baton Rouge therapist William Abraham.
Abraham’s body was found wrapped in a tarp in Tangipahoa Parish on Sunday, sparking an intensive investigation. Authorities have since pieced together a trail of evidence that points to Thomas, known on social media as “Mr. Prada”, as the prime suspect.
Based on Thomas’ arrest warrant, UWK has compiled a detailed timeline of the events leading up to his arrest.
September 28 | 11 a.m.
Surveillance video shows Abraham arriving at Thomas’ apartment complex.
According to the affidavit, a “violent physical altercation” took place inside the apartment.
September 28 | Afternoon
Hours later, investigators say witnesses observed Thomas struggling as he “dragged an object wrapped in a blue-colored tarp” down the stairs of his apartment complex and loaded it into Abraham’s vehicle, a 2018 black Lincoln MKZ.
It’s unclear whether witnesses saw Thomas dragging the object immediately after the argument in the apartment or if there was a significant time gap.
September 29 | 8:25 a.m.
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call regarding a suspicious item in a tarp along Highway 51 near Fluker. Deputies identified the ‘item’ as Abraham’s remains. Investigators noted that Abraham was wearing the same clothes he had been seen in on surveillance footage when entering Thomas’ apartment the previous day.
Court documents revealed that Abraham’s body was wrapped in a gray comforter with dark-colored duct tape securing it. The documents also stated that Abraham’s head was covered with a dark towel and that he appeared to have sustained blunt-force trauma to the head.

September 29 | Afternoon
Abraham’s vehicle is spotted at the Juban Crossing shopping center in Denham Springs. Surveillance footage from the business, which sources tell UWK was the Acadamy Sports + Outdoors, reportedly shows Thomas exiting the Lincoln and walking into the store.
TPSO issued a Louisiana statewide BOLO bulletin regarding Abraham’s missing vehicle.
September 30 | 12:20 p.m.
Baton Rouge Police spotted the vehicle based on the BOLO from TPSO, believed to be Abraham’s car. When police attempted to stop the driver, he took off leading a BRPD officer on a pursuit before bailing. Officers found Abraham’s vehicle at an office complex near Sherwood Forest Blvd. and Coursey Blvd. The driver would later be identified by investigators as Thomas, who crashed the vehicle into several parked cars before running from the scene.
UWK was on the scene as Abraham’s vehicle was towed away.
September 30 | Afternoon
Investigators said that after the pursuit, Thomas was given a ride from the Sherwood Forest area to his apartment near Picardy Ave., between Essen Ln. and Bluebonnet Blvd.
That evening and after the crash, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office released photos of a black man identified as a person of interest in Abraham’s case. The images, captured from surveillance footage at Academy Sports + Outdoors on Sunday afternoon, were released before Thomas was officially named several hours later. Officials have said he was identified based on the pictures in less than an hour.
That’s when TPSO obtained a search warrant for Thomas’ apartment. According to the arrest warrant affidavit, deputies found evidence of a violent altercation, including a “significant amount of blood” and “multiple sharp objects and other weapons” throughout the apartment.
DNA samples collected from the scene were submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
October 1
The Baton Rouge Police Department issued a warrant for Thomas’ arrest on charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. These charges were related to the Sherwood Forest Blvd. incident and not directly linked to Abraham’s murder. There, he was accused of ramming into a police officer’s car.
Sources in Dallas said a tip from someone who knew Thomas led authorities to downtown Dallas on Tuesday night, where he was arrested without incident. He was reportedly sitting on a park bench when apprehended and was booked into the Dallas County Justice Center.
October 2
Louisiana State Police matched the DNA from Thomas’ apartment to Abraham.
East Baton Rouge Parish investigators contacted Thomas at the Dallas County Justice Center, where he invoked his right to counsel.
October 2 | 9:52 p.m.
A judge signed an arrest warrant charging Thomas with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.
