TPSO investigating Sunday homicide

TANGIPAHOA – The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left an 18-year-old dead Sunday.

TPSO Chief Jimmy Travis said shortly after 1 p.m., deputies located Calvin Felton in a yard on Martin Luther King Drive in the Village of Tangipahoa. Felton suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and was transported to a local hospital, where he died.
