TPSO searching for armed robbery suspect

HAMMOND — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

Officials say detectives are investigating an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station on Airport Road near Interstate 12 early Tuesday.

According to security footage, a man wearing a hoodie and mask entered the convenience store just before 5 a.m. and pointed a gun at the cashier. The man removed money from the cash register and left the store.
