PORT ALLEN — Friday traffic troubles have begun early in the Capital City.
An accident on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge near Lake Bigeux has forced officials to close I-10 westbound at La. 415. All westbound traffic is being redirected off the interstate and onto La. 415. Delays extend past the 10/12 split.

The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is assisting DOTD crews. If you’re traveling in the area, consider using Hwy. 190.
