Twin brother of man who pointed gun at deputies & was killed, has been arrested

Sources said Keaughn Willis allegedly kidnapped a woman in Baton Rouge, drove her to Alexandria and then raped her before she was able to escape.

Multiple sources confirm to Unfiltered with Kiran the shooting death of his twin brother, Deaughn Willis, also 25, at the hands of EBRSO deputies, started with Keaughn allegedly kidnapping someone.

His charges he was arrested on include: simple kidnapping, domestic abuse battery of a pregnant victim, sexual battery/forcible and third degree rape.

According to sources, Keaughn Willis allegedly kidnapped someone off of Clayton St. in Baton Rouge around 11:30am on Saturday, Jan. 8th in a black Honda Accord. The kidnapped victim was dropped off somewhere in Brusly around 4pm, according to sources.

Sources said Willis went to a home around 11:30 on Clayton St. in Baton Rouge, where he allegedly grabbed a woman, put her in his car forcibly and drove off.  Unfiltered with Kiran is told that Willis parked behind a building and allegedly raped the woman near Alexandria. Thankfully, the woman able to free herself, busted a window and ran away.

Around that same time, 4pm, BRPD officers asked East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies for assistance in executing a warrant they had for Keaughn at his address at the Springbrook apartments on George O’Neal.

However, when deputies showed up at the apartment complex, Louisiana State Police troopers say Keaughn’s twin brother Deaughn is who opened the door, allegedly with the barrel of a gun pointed at deputies, according to sources. 

That’s when LSP says deputies fired and shot and killed Deaughn. 

DEPUTY SHOOTS, KILLS MAN AFTER HE POINTS GUN AT DEPUTIES

It wasn’t until Sunday morning when BRPD officers were able to arrest Keaughn.

Both brothers had active warrants out for their arrests.

The shooting death of Deaughn remains under investigation by the Louisiana State Police, which is protocol of an outside agency investigating anytime there’s a shooting involving a law enforcement official.
